Bangla Boxing Stadium is Patong’s best-known Muay Thai venue, on Soi Banzaan just behind Jungceylon and a short walk from Bangla Road. A night at the stadium is a real fight card, not a show: Thai and international fighters on a full programme of bouts, building up to the main event. These tickets include hotel pickup from Patong, Kata and Karon.

Highlights
- Live Muay Thai in the heart of Patong
- A full card of bouts, from younger and lighter fighters early to the headline fight
- Choice of raised stadium seats or ringside VIP seats
- Free shared pickup from Kata, Karon and Patong
What to expect at Bangla Boxing Stadium
The first bout is at about 21:00 and the evening runs for several hours, finishing earlier if there are quick knockouts. Each fight opens with the wai kru, a ritual dance to traditional music that honours the fighter’s teacher. Muay Thai is known as “the art of eight limbs” because fighters use fists, elbows, knees and shins, so the pace and power are very different from Western boxing.
The card usually starts with the youngest and lightest fighters, which some visitors find uncomfortable to watch. The quality rises through the night to the main event.
Stadium seat or VIP?
Stadium seats are raised and give a good overall view of the ring. VIP ringside seats put you right next to the action, which is great for photos and atmosphere, but you are looking up at the ring.
Fight nights
The fight days listed in the price table below are from our previous schedule. The stadium has advertised fights most nights during 2026, so the team will confirm the card for your date when you book.
Pickup
Free pickup from Kata and Karon (about 19:00 to 19:30) and Patong (about 20:00 to 20:30). Staying elsewhere? Ask us about a transfer, or make your own way: the stadium is on Soi Banzaan, opposite Banzaan Fresh Market.
What to bring
- Your voucher, exchanged for tickets at the box office
- Cash for drinks and snacks
- Light clothing; the stadium is ventilated but can be warm
Tips from our team
- You can arrive a little after the start without missing the bigger fights, which come later.
- Short phone videos are fine, but professional camera gear and tripods are generally not allowed.
- Do not confuse Bangla Boxing Stadium with Patong Boxing Stadium, a separate venue with its own tickets.
- Combine the fights with a walk along Bangla Road afterwards; it is only a few minutes away.
