What to expect at Dino Park Mini Golf
Dino Park opened in 1997 and was one of the first dinosaur-themed attractions in Thailand. The course winds through a landscaped garden built to look like a lost world, with giant dinosaurs peering over the greens and water features along the way.
How long a round takes depends on how busy the course is and how competitive your group gets, so leave time for photos with the dinosaurs. After dark the course is lit and has a different, slightly spookier feel, which many families enjoy.
The attached Dino Park Mini Golf & Restaurant serves food and drinks. Meals are not included in the ticket and are paid for on the spot.
Location and getting there
- Dino Park is on Karon Road, on the stretch between Karon and Kata beaches.
- From Karon or Kata hotels it is a short walk or a quick tuk-tuk or Grab ride.
- From Patong, allow around 20–30 minutes by taxi, depending on traffic over the hill.
- This is a ticket only. If you would like a transfer, ask the team and they will quote it for you.
Opening hours
The park is open daily from about 10:00 until late evening (around 22:00–23:00, depending on the day and season). Hours can change on public holidays, so the team will confirm when you book.
