There are two well-known islands to Koh Samui’s south. Madsum and Koh Tan. Pig Island is another name for Koh Madsum. This island has seen a significant “boom” in recent years. The primary factor is that a family of pigs lives there naturally, in addition to the lovely sandy beach with crystal-clear water.

South of Koh Samui is a place called Koh Tan. This island has a serene, natural environment and is quite lovely. There are stony beaches and mangrove swamps on the confined bay’s west side. Koh Tan was a village once, home to around a hundred houses. In the community, some families work in commerce, and there have been a lot of insects over the last 30 years. Furthermore, although Koh Tan is a legendary island, it used to be dog-free. The locals told me that dogs were not allowed on the sacred island and that the angels of Koh Tan disliked dogs. In the scientific sense, magnetic fields and sound waves exist. This obstructs the dog’s ability to hear.
