Carnival Magic Phuket is a night-time theme park in Kamala, next to Phuket FantaSea. Carnival Magic opening days and hours

  • Open days: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday
  • Park hours: 5.30pm to 11.30pm
  • Main parade: about 50 minutes, usually starting at 9pm. On busy nights an earlier show may be added.

Show times can change for holidays and special events, so our team will confirm the show time printed on your ticket.

What to expect on the night

  1. Arrive early in the evening and explore the carnival fun fair.
  2. If you have a dinner ticket, eat at the buffet before the show.
  3. Take your seat in the River Palace for the parade. Photography is not allowed inside.
  4. After the parade, walk through the Kingdom of Lights, which opens after the main show.

Location and transfers

Carnival Magic is in Kamala, on the west coast, next to Phuket FantaSea (999 Moo 3, Kamala, Kathu, Phuket). Round-trip transfers from Phuket and from Khao Lak can be added to your ticket, as shown in the price table below.

Carnival Magic Phuket tickets for children

  • Children between 101 and 140 cm tall can collect a free gift at the Kids Club inside the park (terms apply).
  • Children up to 100 cm enter free but do not get their own seat in the parade theatre.
  • All ticket types are listed in the price table below.

What to bring and wear

  • Light, comfortable clothes and walking shoes (the Kingdom of Lights is a long walk)
  • Insect repellent for the outdoor areas
  • Your phone or camera for the fun fair and the light park. Photos are not allowed in the parade theatre.

River Palace Paradium The energy that is coming from within the opulent River Palace’s apartments sparkles from its golden spires. The River Palace serves as a wonderful entrance to the largest carnivals the Kingdom has ever witnessed. It was constructed to commemorate the marriage of the Prince and Princess of Kamala and is faithfully guarded by the two most legendary of elephants.

The magnificent River Palace has a 2,200-seat air-conditioned parade stadium that is host to the famous regal barge processions, which all of the Kamala Kingdom’s citizens take part in and which are attended by legendary past kings and queens.

The stadium also has one of the largest LED screens ever built for a theatrical event, a full surround-sound audio system, and some of the most advanced lighting and special effects technologies on the market right now. All kinds of special events, both public and private, can be held at the River Palace Paradium.
River Carnival Parade Show The River Carnival, which took more than three years to create, features a cast of more than 150 actors and 150 crew personnel. Huge costumes up to 8 meters tall complement the largest procession barges and tallest flying creatures ever gathered, which have been assembled. On one of the biggest stages ever built, performances by aerial ballet, exotic carnival dancers, animatronics, and stunning special effects may be seen. The River Carnival Show is designed to stun and astonish with the most spectacular display of royal pageantry and carnival revelry, with a performance area that is over 70 meters wide.
Kingdom of Lights The Prince invites his guests to meander through a secret garden woodland on his palace grounds after the evening’s show so they can explore its various enchantments and unique treasures. The Kingdom of Lights, delicately strung with over 40 million lights that individually reflect the brilliant brilliance of a land abundant with beauty, rejoices in the happiness of a people living in peace with their surroundings and the joyful homecoming of their enlightened Prince.
Carnival Fun Fair The celebratory mood that permeates the entire park beats to the pulse of Carnival Fun Fair. Carnival Fun Fair gives our visitors the chance to take part in a wide selection of enjoyable activities and vibrant shopping adventures. It is filled with a variety of intriguing shops and market booths.
Festival of Colors Street Parade Participate in the celebration of joy and fun with street dancers, entertainers, parade floats, and a carnival-like energy that is sure to make everyone in attendance grin.
Fountain Show at Happiness Falls An interactive dancing water performance that takes place in the Happiness Falls’ wonderfully playing waters.
Magic Starlight Sparktacular ~ Carnival in the Sky A record-breaking show of nocturnal illumination illuminates the enchanted Castle of Starlight with a symphony of color, sound, and projection.
