Pig Island Thailand (Koh Madsum) is a small island off the south coast of Koh Samui, best known for the family of pigs that wanders its beach. This half-day VIP speedboat tour combines Pig Island with snorkelling at nearby Koh Tan, in a small group capped at about 21 guests, with hotel pickup in a comfortable van. It suits families and anyone who wants a relaxed island morning without the long trip to Koh Tao. Book online on this page and our team will confirm your seats and stay in touch on WhatsApp.

Pig Island etiquette
- Let the pigs come to you. Don’t chase, grab or ride them.
- Only feed them what the crew or island staff provide, if feeding is allowed.
- Watch small children around the bigger pigs. They are friendly but strong.
- A small landing fee may be charged on the island, payable in cash. Our team will confirm this when you book.
Pig Island Thailand vs the Bahamas
If you have seen swimming pigs from the Bahamas online, Koh Madsum is Thailand’s version. The pigs mostly roam the beach and shallows rather than swimming out to boats, but it is still a fun, easy stop, especially for children.
What to bring
- Swimwear, a towel and a change of clothes
- Reef-safe sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses
- A waterproof phone pouch for photos
- Cash for drinks and any landing fee
Tips from our team
- The sea on Samui’s south side is usually calmest in the morning.
- From around November to early January, Samui’s rainy season can bring choppier water and some cancellations.
