This 4 island tour from Phuket combined the Khai islands, Koh Yao Yai and the Phi Phi islands in one speedboat day. It’s not running at the moment. This page explains what the route covered, which parts you can still do today, and what to book instead.

Updated October 2026 by the Phuket Dream Company team (TAT licensed).

What the 4 island tour from Phuket covered

The trip left from a private pier on Phuket’s east coast and visited four stops by speedboat:

  1. Koh Khai Nui and Koh Khai Nai: small islands about 15 minutes from Phuket, with shallow, clear water for snorkelling
  2. Koh Yao Yai: a quiet, rural island with a beach stop and lunch
  3. Phi Phi Don: Ton Sai Bay and Monkey Beach
  4. Phi Phi Leh: Viking Cave, Pileh Lagoon, Loh Samah Bay and Maya Bay, when the park was open

The full original timetable and the last published prices are kept below for reference.

Phi Phi and Maya Bay in 2026

  • Maya Bay is open again. It closes every year for the low season so nature can recover. In 2026 it was closed from 1 August to 30 September and reopened on 1 October.
  • No swimming at Maya Bay. Visitors walk in from the back of the bay via a boardwalk and can only wade. Snorkelling and swimming happen at Pileh Lagoon and other permitted spots.
  • Loh Samah Bay closes for the same period as Maya Bay.
  • National park fee: a fee is charged to enter the Phi Phi islands area of the national park. Check whether it’s included when you book.
  • Feeding fish is banned at the Khai islands and in the marine parks.

Tips for a Phi Phi speedboat day

  • Go between November and April for the calmest seas. From May to October the crossing can be rough, and the route may change on the day.
  • If you get seasick, sit towards the back of the boat and take tablets before you leave.
  • Use reef-safe sunscreen and wear a rash vest. There’s little shade on a speedboat.
  • Bring cash for national park fees if they aren’t included, and for drinks on the islands.
  • At Monkey Beach, don’t feed or touch the monkeys, and keep bags closed.
