- Speedboat to the Similans: cross the Andaman Sea to the national park.
- Koh Ba Ngu (Island 9): snorkel over coral and reef fish.
- Koh Similan (Island 8): walk up to Sail Rock, the balancing boulder above Donald Duck Bay. The path is steep with no railings, so take your time.
- Koh Payu (Island 7): a snorkelling stop. There is no beach landing here.
- Koh Miang (Island 4): relax on the beach at Princess Bay.
- Return: speedboat to Tao Than Pier, a snack, then transfer to your hotel in the evening.
The order of stops can change with the tide, sea conditions and park rules on the day.
Pickup and pier
Pickup is included from most Phuket areas, and some outer areas pay a small extra charge, as shown in the price table. The operator’s programme departs from Sarasin Pier, near the Sarasin Bridge in the north of Phuket, and returns via Tao Than Pier on the Phang Nga mainland. Our team will confirm your pier and pickup time the day before.
Similan Islands season and park rules
- Season: open 15 October to 15 May each year. The park closes in the south-west monsoon.

- Park fee: charged by the national park, 500 THB per foreign adult (as listed for 2026–27). Please check whether it is included in your booking.
- Sunscreen: sunscreen containing oxybenzone, octinoxate, 4-MBC or butylparaben is banned in Thai marine parks.
- Day trips only: overnight stays on the islands are not allowed.
