Similan Island Day Trip with Excursion Speed Boat

The Similan Islands group features the whitest sand beaches and the purest sea. It has the greatest diversity and amount of fish. Numerous fish species, including snapper, fusilier, surgeon fish, rabbit fish, parrot fish, and many more, are present in large schools. Turtles nibbling on coral or blue-spotted stingrays hiding on the sandy sea floor are likely to be observed. A good likelihood exists of witnessing leopard sharks. Manta ray and whale shark encounters with pelagic fish do occasionally occur, although being uncommon.

There are both hard and soft corals in the Similan Islands. The eastern slopes of the islands’ bordering reefs slope gradually from the shallows to depths of more than 30 metres. Dramatic granite boulder formations that begin above water and continue below the surface may be found on the western shores of the islands. They provide spectacular underwater seascapes because they are littered with gigantic gorgonian sea fans, sea whips, and barrel sponges.
