Koh Tan and Koh Madsum (half day, 4–5 hours)
A short, calm trip that suits families with young children and older travellers. Koh Madsum is known for the pigs that wander its beach, and Koh Tan has quiet sand and clear water for swimming and snorkelling. Lunch can be arranged at a simple local restaurant serving fresh seafood.
Koh Tan, Koh Madsum and Koh Rap (half day or full day)
Add Koh Rap for more snorkelling. The full-day version (09.00–16.00) gives you more time at each stop.
Dolphins, Koh Tan and Koh Madsum (full day, 09.00–16.00)
Head out to look for dolphins in the waters south of Samui before the island stops. Sightings are never guaranteed.
Ang Thong National Marine Park (full day, 09.00–17.00)
Ang Thong is an archipelago of more than 40 limestone islands north-west of Samui. Highlights include the steep climb to the viewpoint on Koh Wua Ta Lap and the emerald saltwater lake (Thale Nai) on Koh Mae Ko. The park usually closes from 1 November to 15 December each year for the monsoon, and a national park entry fee is payable – the team will confirm whether the park is open on your date.
What to expect
- Transfer – meet at Phangka Pier, or add our round-trip van from your hotel.
- Set off – a quick safety briefing and then out to your first island.
- Island stops – swim, snorkel, land on beaches or anchor offshore; the captain adjusts the plan to tides and weather.
- Lunch – at a local restaurant on the route or on board, depending on the trip.
- Return – back at Phangka Pier at the end of your chosen time.

How many people can the boat take?
The price is per boat for 1–15 guests.
Is there a speedboat from Phuket to Koh Samui?
No. Phuket is on the Andaman Sea and Koh Samui is in the Gulf of Thailand, on the opposite coast, so there is no direct boat. Most people fly, or travel by road to Surat Thani or Don Sak and take the ferry. The team can arrange transfers – message us on WhatsApp.
What is the Samui speedboat schedule?
Private charters run on your timing: half days last 4–5 hours and full days run 09.00–16.00 or 09.00–17.00 depending on the route.
Is Ang Thong open all year?
No. The park usually closes from 1 November to 15 December for the monsoon. The other routes run all year, weather permitting.
Are food and park fees included?
The team will confirm exactly what is included for your route when you book, including lunch and any national park fees.
Is it suitable for children?
