Forming part of Ko Lanta National Park, Koh Rok is comprised of two idyllic islands – Rok Nok and Rok Nai – which offer a blissful escape from Phuket. Surrounded by stunning coral reefs, they are the ultimate snorkelling destination, as well as boasting pristine beaches for relaxing.
Departing from Phuket, our Koh Rok excursion takes place aboard a speed catamaran, which will whisk you to this island paradise. Spend the day swimming and snorkelling in the crystal clear waters while schools of colourful fish swim around you and soft corals move with the currents.
Including a delicious homemade lunch, all national park fees and the services of a knowledgeable guide, this excursion to Koh Rok is ideal for those who want to escape the crowds and discover one of Southern Thailand’s most picturesque corners.
Itinerary
You will be picked up from your Phuket hotel between 6:30 am and 7:30 am and transferred to the Panwa Pier. On arrival, enjoy a light breakfast, accompanied by coffee and tea as your eco-alert tour guide gives you a short briefing about what you can expect throughout the day.
Around 8:30 am, we will board our comfortable catamaran and begin cruising towards the island of Koh Haa. Here, you will have plenty of time to go snorkelling and enjoy the beautiful corals and myriad fish species. Our next destination is Koh Rok Island where we’ll jump into the crystal clear waters for another snorkelling session. If you prefer, you may simply relax on the white sandy beach and watch the hermit crabs coming and going.
A delicious, home-cooked lunch will be served around midday, accompanied by soft drinks and juices. In the afternoon, we will spend more time snorkelling, this time at Siam Bay on Rok Nai, Pakrong Bay or Laemson Bay. For those who are all snorkelled out, you may prefer just to relax on Mansai Beach, with a long-tail boat ready to take you there.
Around 3:00 pm, those who are at Mansai Beach will be returned to the speed catamaran, ready for a departure from Koh Rok Island at 3:30 pm. We expect to arrive back at the Panwa Pier around 5:00 pm, with a hotel transfer awaiting.
