Indigo is a 53-foot private power catamaran for day charters from Chalong Pier, Phuket. Destinations

Full-day charters (about 8 hours) can go to Racha Yai, Racha Noi, Coral Island, Koh Maiton, Koh Khai, Phi Phi, or Phang Nga Bay and Koh Hong. Phi Phi with Bamboo Island is also available. The captain will suggest the best route for the weather on the day.

What to expect

You board at Chalong Pier and the crew gives a short safety briefing. On the way to your first stop, find a spot on the flybridge or foredeck. At each stop you can swim, snorkel, paddle board or take the kayaks out while the crew looks after the boat. The day ends with a relaxed cruise back to the pier.

Pier and transfers

The boat departs from Chalong Pier. Starting from another marina is possible for an extra relocation charge, and private van transfers from your hotel can be added. Both are listed in the tables below.

What to bring

• Swimwear, towels and a change of clothes
• Reef-safe sun cream, hats and sunglasses
• Cash for national park fees at Phi Phi, Phang Nga and similar parks (paid per person, not included)

Tips

• The calmest months for longer trips are usually November to April
• From May to October the captain may choose sheltered routes such as Phang Nga Bay
• Maya Bay is closed every year from about August to September; the team will advise on alternatives
