Phuket Activities Luge Riding + Zipline Hanuman World

Hanuman Luge Phuket is a gravity-powered cart ride on concrete tracks that wind down through the jungle at Hanuman World, in the Chalong / Chao Fa area in the south of the island. This combo pairs two luge rides with a Hanuman World zipline course, so you get a full adventure morning or afternoon in one booking. Choose from 10, 18 or 32 zipline platforms, with or without a meal (see the options below). Hotel pickup from the main areas is included.

Hanuman Luge Phuket and zipline highlights

• Two rides on the Hanuman luge. You control the speed of your cart with a hand brake.
• A track of about 650 metres through the jungle, with banked corners and drops. The site also has a longer track.
• A Hanuman World zipline course with ziplines, sky bridges, abseils, spiral staircases and the skywalk, depending on the package you choose
• “World” packages include the roller zipline, the skywalk and a meal

What to expect

Zipline sessions start at 08:00, 10:00, 13:00 or 15:00. After pickup, you’re fitted with a harness and helmet and given a safety briefing. Then you head out on the zipline course with the guides. The 32-platform route takes around three hours. Your two luge rides are on the same site, at Hanuman Luge, either before or after the zipline. Staff will brief you on braking and spacing before your first run.

Rules for the luge and zipline

• Luge: children aged 10 and over can ride on their own. Children aged 4–9 must ride with an adult driver. Children under 120 cm sit in front of the adult, and taller children sit behind.
• Zipline: not recommended for guests aged 60 or over, children under 4, or pregnant women. The maximum weight is 120 kg.
• Pregnant women cannot ride the luge.

What to bring and wear

• Closed shoes such as trainers. Flip-flops or sandals aren’t suitable for the zipline.
• Shorts or trousers. Avoid skirts and long, loose clothing.
• Insect repellent and water
• Lockers are available for phones and bags at the luge.

Tips

• Take your first luge run slowly to learn the corners, then go faster on the second.
• Morning zipline sessions are cooler and less likely to be interrupted by afternoon storms in the wet season.

*LUGE CODE OF CONDUCT

• Children aged 10 years old are allowed to drive on their own.
• Children older than 4 years old but younger than 10 years old are not allowed to drive alone and must ride with the main driver.
• When driving with doubling, If the child’s height is less than 120 cm, They have to sit in front of the main driver; if taller than 120 cm, They have to sit behind the main driver.

*Special Consideration :

• The Hanuman World zipline is not recommended for senior citizens aged 60 years or over, children under 4 years of age and pregnant women.
• Maximum weight of participating guests is 120 kg.
• Insurance: The customer must accept the intrinsic risks of taking part in an adventure tour. An accident insurance policy is provided but any valid claims can only be considered within the stated amounts and under the laws of Thailand. The personal property of each participant is carried at their own risk.
