At Elephant Care by Anda Adventure, you may take care of gentle elephants while also enjoying a variety of outdoor activities in Phang Nga, all with the comfort of a shuttle service from your accommodation in Khao Lak or Phang Nga. Choose your outdoor activities for the day, keeping in mind that you can combine white water rafting with an elephant care experience.
The program begins at 11 AM with a 5-kilometer white water rafting trip along the Song Praek River, complete with safety instruction. After the outdoor excursion, savor a traditional Thai lunch served with fresh fruit, tea, and coffee. Learn everything there is to know about elephants at Elephant Camp. After being outfitted in a traditional Mahout attire, you will attend an orientation training course covering the fundamentals of park operations and elephant care.
Following your training, you will have the opportunity to interact with the elephants. Discover everything there is to know about the habits and background of these amazing animals. Assist the attendants in preparing and feeding the elephants their special meal. Get to know the gentle giants personally like never before.
Take the elephants for a mud treatment once they have rested; this will help them cool up and keep parasites away. Give the elephants a river bath to wash off the muck and cap off this incredible experience. When the day is almost over, stop for another cup of tea or coffee before returning to your accommodation.
Select the Hike to the Waterfall option if you would rather not go rafting. Take an easy morning stroll through the bush to a stunning waterfall for a refreshing swim before spending the entire day up close and personal with the amiable elephants at the Anda Adventure Elephant Camp.
