This James Bond Island day trip by luxury speed catamaran combines the best of Phang Nga Bay with a relaxed beach afternoon at Naka Island. You will see the limestone towers of Koh Tapu, canoe through sea caves and mangroves, have lunch near the floating village of Koh Panyee, and finish at Naka Yai, all from Royal Phuket Marina with hotel pickup.

The order of stops may change with tide and weather.
Naka Island and the pier
Naka Yai and Naka Noi sit just off Phuket’s east coast, between Phuket and Phang Nga Bay. This trip does not use a public ferry: you travel on the operator’s catamaran from Royal Phuket Marina near Koh Kaew. If you only want a boat to Naka Island, ask us about a private longtail or speedboat charter.
What to bring
- Swimwear, towel, hat and sunglasses.
- Reef-safe sunscreen and insect repellent for the mangroves.
- Cash for the national park fee (not included unless stated in your confirmation) and drinks.
- A waterproof bag for phone and valuables in the canoe.
Tips
- Canoe access to some caves depends on the tide; the guides choose the best time.
- James Bond Island is busiest around midday, so be patient for photos.
- The catamaran is a good choice if you worry about seasickness on smaller speedboats.
