Half Day Visit Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Experience Koh Samui

At the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary in Samui, take advantage of an elephant’s company. Our tiny elephant village on the island of Samui serves as an illustration of how we advocate for the ethical and sustainable treatment of elephants. Our mahouts assist tourists in realising unique life experiences like bathing elephants or feeding them by hand, while our professional English-speaking guides provide visitors with insight into the behaviour and personal history of our elephants.

The Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is around 20 minutes from Samui International Airport and is close to Bor Phud. The guides will give you a brief introduction to the trip, our programmes for the wellbeing of the elephants, some facts about the elephants, and traditional Karen clothing to wear throughout the tour when you arrive at the sanctuary. We advise you to bring some items since the tour can get muddy and wet (in a very enjoyable way!). Bring a change of clothes, a towel, a bathing suit, a hat, and sunscreen.

At the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, you will get the opportunity to feed, bathe, and even pet the elephants. Additionally, it’s important to us that you gain as much knowledge as you can about elephants and the reasons why it’s crucial to protect them. We can support the welfare of elephants with the funds we raise through donations and visitor fees. Elephants are saved, fed, given veterinary treatment, and given land and infrastructure to live on.
