Take part in an adventure distant from civilisation, in a small group, deep within the jungle, and explore the world of our neighbourhood camp!
At the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary in Pattaya, take advantage of an elephant’s company. Our tiny elephant hamlet in Pattaya is one example of how we advocate for the ethical and sustainable treatment of elephants. Our mahouts assist tourists in realising unique life experiences like bathing elephants or feeding them by hand, while our professional English-speaking guides provide visitors with insight into the behaviour and personal history of our elephants.

In close proximity to Pattaya city is the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is open at two different times during the day. The hours for the morning visit are 6:30 am to 11:30 am, and the hours for the afternoon visit are 12:30 to 17:30 pm. Two traditional Thai buffet meals, pick-up and drop-off at your Pattaya lodging (according to limits and limitations), drinking water, and even supplies for feeding the elephants are all included in the package offer!
The guides will give you a brief introduction to the tour, our programmes for the welfare of the elephants, and some facts about the elephants when you arrive at the sanctuary. The tour can be muddy and damp, but it’s all in good fun!
We advise you to bring some items with you. To our Pattaya elephant sanctuary, bring a hat, sunscreen, a bathing suit, a towel, and a change of clothes.
You can also bring a camera, but you should not be concerned if you’re worried about shooting pictures of the elephants. The photography service is provided by Elephant Jungle Sanctuary at no additional cost. You will be photographed during the day, and the photographer will submit the pictures to Dropbox, which you may access by clicking the link on the EJS Facebook page.
You will be feeding, washing, and even playing with the elephants during your entire stay at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Additionally, it’s important to us that you gain as much knowledge as you can about elephants and the reasons why it’s crucial to protect them. We can support the welfare of elephants with the funds we raise through donations and visitor fees. Elephants are saved, fed, given veterinary treatment, and given land and infrastructure to live on.
Another choice at our Pattaya elephant village is the “Feed Me” programme, which teaches visitors how we turn elephant faeces into paper while allowing them to observe the elephants as they freely explore the sanctuary.
