A luxury long tail boat, a traditional wooden fishing vessel, may take you on a day-long exploration of the southern islands of Koh Tan, Koh Madsum, or Pig Island.
Explore the islands on a journey to see the stunning coral reefs. Visit Koh Madsum Pig Island to see the friendly pigs and swim among the vibrant aquatic life. Regardless of your age, you will undoubtedly adore these sweet and innocent pigs. And the adventure in Thailand will be pretty unusual. Two beautiful beaches, one with white sand and the other with a coral reef, are just for you here.
The traditional Thai luxury long tail boat trip leaves from the island’s south beach. They were given this name because of the long handle that the skipper used to steer the boat. Speedboats are faster than long tails. And as a result, you’ll get a wonderful opportunity to take in the hues and expansive views of the islands of Koh Tan and Koh Madsum.
The afternoon trip will be particularly interesting. If the weather cooperates, you will be able to observe from the water as the orange sphere “sinks” into the water’s surface and brilliantly colours the clouds.

Justin –
We had an excellent day out on this boat. There was only 3 of us so we had plenty of space, the boat had a roof so it was nice to be able to choose to sit in the sun or sit undercover. First stop was Koh Madsum (Pig island). This was really funny here and fun, pigs everywhere, they run up to you when they see you. You can buy little bags of food there and they give you a plate to put the food on. You have to put the plate on the ground once you put the food in, if you don’t the pigs rip the plate out of your hands haha, have to watch out as you might accidentally get your fingers bitten and they don’t mean to. You can chill at the restaurants here and eat and buy drinks if you like, or go for a walk on the beach, have a swim. Next stop was Koh Tan, we just stopped and tied the boat off in the ocean and had a swim and a snorkel here and relaxed on the b oat, and then it was time to go back. A great trip, very quick to travel to both locations and back again.
