A guided Phuket jet ski tour is a fast, fun way to explore the islands off Phuket’s east coast. On this half-day tour you ride your own jet ski in a small group behind a lead guide on another jet ski. You’ll pass quiet islands, limestone rocks and the beach where the macaques of Monkey Island gather. The price is per jet ski, with up to two riders sharing one.

- Morning (09:00–13:00) or afternoon (13:30–18:00) sessions

What to expect
After hotel pickup, you’re taken to the departure pier on the east coast. The team gives you a safety briefing, fits your life jackets and runs through the jet ski controls. You then ride in convoy from island to island, stopping to rest, swim and take photos. At Monkey Island, you’ll usually see the monkeys on the beach from your jet ski or from the shallows. The guide sets the pace and route according to the sea, so less experienced riders aren’t left behind.
Safety and licensing
- In July 2026, Phuket’s Marine Office began a crackdown on unlicensed jet skis and fined operators without valid licences. Only book jet ski tours through licensed operators.
- Wear your life jacket at all times and keep a safe distance from other riders and swimmers.
- Don’t ride after drinking alcohol.
- Minimum ages for drivers and passengers, and any health restrictions, will be confirmed by the team when you book.
What to bring
- Swimwear, a rash vest or quick-dry top, and a towel
- Strong sunscreen, sunglasses with a strap, and a cap that won’t blow away
- A waterproof bag or pouch for your phone
- Your passport or a copy, in case the operator asks to see it
