How far is it from Phuket to Krabi?
Krabi lies across the bay to the east of Phuket. By boat you avoid the long road around the bay, and you arrive close to the beaches rather than at Krabi Town’s bus station.

Pickup is free from Patong, Kata, Karon and Phuket Town. For other areas, ask us and we will arrange a transfer. At Ao Nang, taxis and songthaews wait near the pier for the short ride to your hotel.

Tips from our team
- Book a day or more ahead in December and January, when boats fill up.
- Keep valuables in your hand luggage; big bags are stored together on board.
- Bad weather in the low season can cancel sailings. Avoid booking a tight connection on the same day.
- Staying in Krabi Town or Railay rather than Ao Nang? Tell us, and we can advise on onward transport.
