Khao Lak – Adventure Jungle Zipline 14 Platforms Sky Rock

Sky Rock Khao Lak is a jungle zipline park in the hills of Phang Nga province, a short drive from the main Khao Lak beaches. This Rock 2 programme gives you 14 platforms in about an hour: ziplines through the treetops, a 30-metre abseil, sky bridges and a bamboo tower. It’s a good half-morning or afternoon break from the beach for active couples, friends and families with children aged 4 and over.

Sky Rock Khao Lak zipline highlights

• 14 platforms in one compact course, so it suits first-timers and younger riders
• Two ziplines, the longest about 200 metres, plus a dual line so two people can ride side by side

What to expect on the day

The park runs four sessions a day, at 08:00, 10:00, 13:00 and 15:00. You’ll be collected from your hotel and driven to the park, where staff fit your harness and helmet and run a safety demonstration. Then you work your way round the 14 stations with the guides, who clip you in at every platform. The course takes about an hour, plus time for the briefing and transfers.

Who can join

• Minimum age 4 years. Children under 4 cannot take part.
• Not recommended for guests aged 60 or over.
• Maximum weight 120 kg.
• Not suitable during pregnancy, or for anyone with back or spinal problems or a heart condition.

Pickup

Return transfers are free from Lam Kaen, Khao Lak Beach, Nang Thong, Bang Niang and Pakarang. Transfers are shared, and they run to the session schedule. If you’re staying further away, for example in Takua Pa or Phuket, ask us before you book and we’ll check the extra charge.

What to bring and wear

• Closed shoes such as trainers. Flip-flops are not suitable.
• Comfortable shorts or trousers rather than a dress or skirt
• Insect repellent and a small bottle of water
• A phone or camera you can secure. Ask the staff before carrying anything loose on the lines.

Tips

• The 08:00 and 10:00 sessions are the coolest. Afternoon showers are more common from May to October.
• Don’t drink alcohol before your session. Staff can refuse riders who have been drinking.
• Photos taken by the park are usually sold separately.

FAQ

Where is Sky Rock Khao Lak?
It’s in the Khuek Khak area of Takua Pa district in Phang Nga, inland from the Khao Lak beaches. Free pickup covers the main beach areas.

How long does the 14-platform zipline take?
About an hour on the course, plus the safety briefing and the transfer from your hotel.

Can children do the Khao Lak zipline?
Yes, from age 4. Children ride with a guide clipped on nearby, and the shorter 14-platform course suits them well.

Is there a weight limit?
Yes, 120 kg. Guests over 60 are advised not to take part.

Does it run in the rainy season?
The park operates every day. In heavy rain or thunderstorms the staff may pause or change sessions for safety, and we’ll keep you updated.

What session times are available?
08:00, 10:00, 13:00 and 15:00. Choose your preferred time when you book, and we’ll confirm it.

*Special Consideration :

• • Special consideration for Zipline and Roller Zipline are concerned to the Risk Concern and Policy Statement (Attached file): Participation of senior citizens 60 years of age or over is not recommend. The Children less than 4 years of age, pregnant ladies and customer weight over 120 kg. is not allowed.

*Insurance

• The customer must accept the intrinsic risks of taking part in the tour. An accident insurance policy is held, any valid claims can only be considered within the limits of the stated amount in the policy under the laws of Thailand. The company’s accident insurance will only cover medical treatment and medical expenses which caused from the accident that occurred during the trip. This insurance covers within Thailand territory only. The personal property of each the customer is carried on the tour at their own risk. Anyhow, all trip instructions are to be strictly complied with by the customer without being in violation thereof.

*Transportation Service:

• Is non-private and shall run in accordance with time if the customer has any luggage, we will be charged 300.-Baht/Luggage and the service schedule as specified by Hanuman World. An additional fee will be charged for private transportation services and extra zones.
