Phuket to Phi Phi ferries
One of the most popular islands in Thailand is Phi Phi. If you are traveling in Phuket, you can take a ferry that travels to Phi Phi Island in just over two hours. Two times per day, the boat travels from Rassada Pier in Phuket to Tonsai Pier in Phi Phi Island and back.
Royal Jet Cruiser boats can accommodate up to 590 passengers at a time and feature air conditioning to ensure a comfortable journey to Koh Phi Phi and Krabi. In addition to Standard Class Seats, they also offer First Class, which features plush cushions, and Premium Seats, which feature cushioned sofa seats complete with plush pillows. Additionally, the upper deck of the ferry has a broad open area called the public sundeck that provides a 360-degree view of the Andaman Sea.
From either Phuket or Krabi, ferries are by far the most convenient and affordable means of transportation to Ko Phi Phi. The boat ride from Phuket takes about 90 minutes, though it could take longer depending on the weather. If you are staying in one of the following Phuket neighborhoods, such as Phuket Town, Patong, Kata, or Karon Beaches, land transfers are already included in the price.
The earliest ferry sailings from Phuket (Rassada Pier) to Koh Phi Phi (Laemtong Beach) usually depart at approximately 08:30. The fastest sailing time is about 1 hour 30 minutes, while the average sailing time is about 2 hours 6 minutes.
