Elephant Care White Water Rafting Phuket. We are not interested in promoting the riding of elephants or elephant trekking. Instead we like to book the elephant care programs, where you learn all about elephants, how they live and what they eat.
This is also located in Phang Nga, which is about 1.5 hours drive each way north of Phuket, so yes a bit of a journey, but everyone that has ever done this has loved it, so it is well worth the trip. These guys offer a few different combinations of this day out, you can see the other links on the bottom of this page.
You also get involved with making the elephants food for the day and feed them. After that you take them and give them a mud scrub and a bath, and get a chance to have a quick swim with them and take some pictures, it really is an amazing experience that everyone that do it speaks extremely highly of.
This is a fun itinerary for the day that combines the elephant care with some white water rafting. No need to be experienced, it is a basic level of rating and really a lot of fun. You will be shown what to do with a quick training session from the team and away you go.
