Simon Cabaret Show Phuket – A Spectacular Performance by Ladyboys
Simon Cabaret Phuket is the island’s best-known ladyboy show: a fast-moving evening of glittering costumes, big production numbers, lip-sync performances and comedy, staged by a large cast of transgender performers at a purpose-built theatre on Sirirat Road in Patong. Running since 1991, it is one of the most popular evening shows in Phuket. This guide covers show times, seats, children, how to get there and how to make the most of your night.

What is the Simon Cabaret show?
Simon Cabaret is a cabaret-style stage show performed by Thai ladyboy (kathoey) artists. Expect a series of short, themed numbers: Thai traditional dance, Korean and Chinese pop, Broadway-style showpieces, Western hits and comic sketches, with elaborate sets, feathers and sequins. Performers lip-sync rather than sing live, and the focus is on costume, choreography and spectacle. The comedy is light-hearted and the show is designed for a broad international audience.
Simon Cabaret show times
There are usually three shows every evening:
- 18:00
- 19:30
- 21:00
Each performance lasts roughly an hour. Arrive about 30 minutes early to collect your tickets and find your seat. Show times can change on special occasions, so our team will confirm the time for your date when you book.

Where is Simon Cabaret Phuket?
The theatre is at 8 Sirirat Road in Patong, at the southern end of Patong Beach, about 10 minutes’ walk from Bangla Road. If you are staying in Patong you can walk or take a short tuk-tuk ride. From Kata, Karon, Kamala or Phuket Town, it is easiest to book tickets with a hotel transfer.
Seats and tickets
Tickets are sold as regular seats and VIP seats. VIP seats are closer to the stage in the central section. All seats are allocated, so booking ahead gives you a better choice, particularly at the 19:30 show and from December to April. Book online through our Simon Cabaret ticket page to see the current prices and options.
Is Simon Cabaret suitable for children?
Many families attend. The show is glamorous and playful, with some cheeky humour but no nudity. Children aged 4 and over need a ticket, usually at a child rate for those up to 140 cm. Children under 4 may enter free but do not get their own seat and sit on an adult’s lap.

Photos with the performers
Cameras and video recording are not allowed during the show. Afterwards, performers usually line up outside the theatre for photos. They are working, so expect to give a small tip for a photo and always ask before taking one.
