Choose a half-day trip to Koh Rang and Khai Island, or a full day to James Bond Island or Phi Phi.

What to expect with Boat and Beyond Phuket

Half day: Koh Rang and Khai Island

1. Meet the crew at Yamu Pier for a welcome drink and boarding.
2. Cruise to Khai Island for white sand and clear water; arriving early or late means fewer crowds.
3. Snorkel over the reef nearby with masks and life jackets provided.
4. Stop at Koh Rang for a beach picnic in the shade, then cruise back to Yamu.

Full day: James Bond Island and Phang Nga Bay

A longer trip north into Phang Nga Bay to see Khao Phing Kan and Koh Tapu (James Bond Island), made famous by the 1974 film The Man with the Golden Gun. Itineraries typically include sightseeing among the limestone islands, swimming stops, canoeing and lunch, finishing with sunset on the way back.

Full day: Phi Phi Islands

The longest option, crossing to the Phi Phi Islands for swimming and sightseeing before returning at sunset. Maya Bay closes every August and September, and swimming there is not allowed at any time.

Exact routes depend on tide, weather and national park rules.

Meeting point and transfers

All trips depart from Yamu Pier on the Cape Yamu peninsula, north-east Phuket. Hotel transfers are not included in the boat price; private van rates by area are shown in the table below.
